My name is Dean Mellway and I have been playing pool competitively for over 30 years.  I am currently ranked as one of the top twenty players in Ottawa area pool leagues and can help you develop consistency in your stroke through an analysis of your basic approach to the game and the development of practice strategies that work. 

Pool Instruction lessons are one on one on your pool table, in the privacy of my home, or at your favourite pool hall.  (Note: Additional charges may apply if you choose to have your session at your favourite pool hall.)

Having successfully completed the BCA Recognized Instructors course, ottawapooltutor.com has formally affiliated with the The American Academy of Billiard and Cue Sports to create the Eastern Ontario Billiard Academy.  This affiliation will result in the addition of BCA approved course material to the instruction programs offered.    In the future, this collaboration will bring advanced instruction opportunities to Eastern Ontario with the potential for visits from Master level instructors and professional pool players.
